I build the systems that let creative businesses scale.

I spent twelve years as COO of Vivaldi Music Academy — a multi-location performing arts school in Houston. We made the Inc. 5000 three years in a row. I hired the first front desk manager, designed the operational system, and was still there twelve years later with a team, a portfolio of locations, and a brand families recognized in their own neighborhoods.

I had the opportunity to flex my graphic design background and recognized for Hermes Creative Awards and Muse Creative Awards for the event design work — including a summer concert series that played Carnegie Hall and drove record enrollment. This strategy was applied to our summer concert tradition to Royal Academy of Music in London, Musikverein in Vienna, and The John F Kennedy Performing Arts Center in Washington D.C.

Design taught me how to see. Operations taught me how to build.

Most recently, I've applied my experience into software — serving as COO of ARVO, a platform for performing arts schools, and writing Proof of Design, a build-in-public editorial newsletter about creative businesses and the tools we use to run them.
